The new function-integrated profiles (FIP) from Rexroth offer a large usable interior and create more space. I’ve ordered some 4-inch by 3/4 raw bar stock aluminum from 8020 on eBay to make the end caps for rigiditiy, rather than using the Bosch-Rexroth extrusion. They are specifically defined for the individual products.
